CAL200 Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter — Coal & Fuel Testing
Overview — CAL200 Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter
CAL200 oxygen bomb calorimeter is a fully automated instrument designed for rapid and repeatable determination of the calorific value in coal, coke, oil, paraffin and other combustible materials. It delivers precise and consistent results for modern laboratories.
A high-precision temperature sensor and a high-performance A/D converter, combined with an intelligent microprocessor, ensure stable measurements and smart data handling. In addition, the large color LCD provides clear step-by-step guidance during each run. Once the sample is prepared and the parameters are entered, the CAL200 automatically performs the entire test cycle and compiles the results.
Moreover, the data can be printed directly on an A4 printer (if configured) or exported digitally for LIMS or reporting. As a result, laboratories in power generation, metallurgy, cement, and chemical industries, as well as research institutes and universities, benefit from fast throughput and minimal operator intervention.
- Automated test sequence controlled by a microprocessor for reliable performance
- 0.001 K temperature resolution ensures confident measurement endpoints
- Self-sealing stainless-steel oxygen bomb rated for 20 MPa pressure
Key features of the CAL200 Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter
- Intelligent control: single-chip controller with color LCD interface; automatic data collection and on-screen analysis for user convenience.
- Automation: after loading the sample and entering the parameters, the instrument automatically completes the full testing workflow, from ignition to calculation.
- Self-sealing O₂ bomb: made entirely of stainless steel and pressure-tested to 20 MPa at room temperature for operator safety.
- Stable bath design: the inner stainless-steel bucket holds approximately 3000 g of water, while an electric mixer maintains uniform temperature distribution.
- Constant-temperature jacket: double-walled external water jacket with automatic circulation and mixing, ensuring a stable test environment.
- Printing & data export: results can be printed directly to an A4 printer or exported to a connected computer, making documentation effortless.
- Recommended accessory: a briquetting (press-cake) machine for pulverized coal samples improves repeatability and accuracy.
